Introduction to web-based information systems that includes the principles and practices of website design, website implementation, and evaluation of web-based applications including related software, databases, interfaces, and platforms. The importance of design, usability, and accessibility of website design strategies will be covered. Security and privacy issues related to web-based information systems are also explored.
