Focus on the contributions of the Hellenic and Alexandrian Greeks as a point of departure for the evolution of geometry, number theory, analysis and logic. Proofs of some of the great theorems. Prereq: COMM 100, ENGL 110, MATH 151 or 156 or 161 or 163, and junior status.
