Focuses on some of the major areas of scholarship related to the practice of writing: literacy practices; historical accounts of writing instruction; the relationship of classical rhetoric to contemporary writing; writing across the curriculum; studies of professional and workplace writing; computers and writing; social, political and economic dimensions of writing; and others.
